Twisted Darkside – Soundhaus Glasgow, 14 October 2011
Soundhaus once again proved why it was the beating heart of Glasgow’s underground. Twisted brought the Darkside back to the city with a night that blended raw energy, sweat‑soaked atmosphere and a lineup that hit harder than the venue’s infamous bass bins.
This was a proper Soundhaus night — no frills, no posing, just a room full of people who lived for the music. Dutch legends Paul Elstak and Re‑Style made their long‑awaited Glasgow debuts, backed by homegrown heavyweights who knew exactly how to work that warehouse crowd. From the first kick to the last distorted synth, the place never let up.
The video below captures the night exactly as it was: loud, chaotic, intimate and unmistakably Glasgow. No staged shots, no polish — just the real atmosphere of a venue and a scene that meant everything to the people inside it.
If you were there, this will take you straight back.
If you weren’t, this is as close as you’ll ever get to standing in that room.
