AWESOME101 1992

Awesome 101 was a legendary rave series in Scotland during the early ’90s, known for its high-energy atmosphere and top-tier DJs. The events were held at various venues, including Marco’s Forum in Livingston and the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.

The 1st birthday party took place on August 8, 1992, but was ultimately cancelled. Prior to this, the promoters had successfully hosted 12 all-night events. Some of the acts associated with Awesome 101 included M.A.N.I.C., Messiah, Suburban Delay, Shades of Rhythm, Ultra-Sonic and Havanna, with The Prodigy originally scheduled to perform at the August event.
